Pupils, in S3, can choose to continue learning a language and we offer National 4, 5 and Higher Spanish.

Here is the course plan for these levels, where language and culture will be studied in more depth.

Pupils have four tracking and monitoring reports throughout the session and engage in learner conversations to keep track of their progress throughout the year.  

For pupils engaging in further study of Spanish, there is an opportunity to go to Barcelona for a language and culture trip at the end of the academic year.
