What is your favourite word?
Far too many to choose from. My favourite word at the moment comes from a poem called ‘Brooklyn Cop’. It is ‘plunge’. I like it because of the way it sounds when I say it but I wouldn’t say it is my favourite word.
What is your favourite thing to teach?
Poetry and Media texts.
Do you have a favourite film or series?
One of my favourite films at the moment is ‘Get Out’ but I will always have a soft spot for ‘Jaws’

Kuchisabishii whcih literally means I am not hungry but my mouth is lonely!

Spanish grammar especially conjugating verbs.

I love animals! I have four cats and a beautiful Border Collie!

What is your favourite novel, poet or play?
This is too hard. I'm fickle and keep changing my favourites. I've really enjoyed Normal People by Sally Rooney recently, but I also love Dracula, A Streetcar Named Desire, Sense and Sensibility, His Bloody Project and Harry Potter, which are all very different from each other.
What is your favourite idiomatic expression?
No pain, no gain.
What is your favourite word?
Stramash and fankle because they are fun to say.
What is your favourite thing to teach?
The Great Gatsby, anything by Tenessee Williams. Animal Farm. Also, I like persuasive writing and teaching non-fiction texts like Blackfish.
Do you have a favourite film or series?
The US Office is good. I also quite like fantasy shows and films like The Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones etc.
Anything else you would like to add?
Expect lots of Taylor Swift references if you're in my class. Big fan of crisps.
