In this unit our main focus is on tension and what this can bring to a drama performance.    We look at the fictional "Darkwood Manor", developing our Creating skills in a series of one off lessons before devising a drama in a group.  This unit challenges pupils to use their imagination and develop their meta skills of commuication, collaboration and creativity.

S1 Production - Bugsy Malone

In our production units you will work as a class to create a production team to perform a piece of scripted theatre.  We work through the process of reading the script, casting, rehearsal, adding production skills (lighting, set, costume, props and sound) to create a piece of live theatre suitable for performing to an audience.  This unit also develops team working skills whilst learning about the roles of a production team and experiencing the excitement of a performance.
